Arya at Vettai Press meet

Its Arya.. Not Vijay

Director Lingusamy will commence his next project, titled Vettai, with Arya. This movie will be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri’s Cloud Nine. Nirav Shah has been signed up to handle the camera and Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music, a source reports.

Now, was it not the same team – Cloud Nine, Lingusamy, Nirav Shah and Yuvan – that was announced for a Vijay starrer? Enquiries reveal that it is indeed so but Vijay was replaced with Arya. However, neither the producer nor the director gave any definite reasons for the replacement.

Vettai is expected to commence soon and more announcement on this project is awaited.
