Arya in Prabhu Solomon’s next

Director Prabhu Solomon is basking in the glory of his ‘Mynaa’ completing 100 days. When all were expecting Prabhu Solomon to throw a grand function to celebrate the rare achievement, he is quietly moving on strengthening his career.

Prabhu Solomon was to start his next film for producer Lingusamy with his 'Mynaa' hero Vidharth. But Vidharth got committed in the AVM Productions film and Prabhu Solomon is forced to wait until Vidharth returns.

Meanwhile Lingusamy's other production which was to be directed by Mysskin has been dropped for creative differences between the producer and the director. Lingusamy who has got the call sheet of Arya for the Mysskin film didn’t want to waste them and so he has called in Prabhu Solomon to do a film for him with Arya's dates.

Arya ‘Kumbudren Sami’

Not just their looks, but the names of the characters Vishal and Arya playing in Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’ too are bizarre. While the former’s name in the film is Walter Vanangamudi, the latter is called as Kumbudren Sami.

“Though Sethu, Nanda, Pithamagan and Nan Kadavul are serious films, Bala’s penchant for humour was visibile in all the four films. And it has come out in open in full swing in Avan Ivan,” sources say.

“Arya and Vishal would ensure that the audience had a hearty laugh while watching the movie. Such was the characterisation and narration by Bala. It is going to be a laugh riot,” they add.

Shot in and around Theni and Periyakulam, ‘Avan Ivan’ is the first full-lenth comedy caper from Bala. “But there are typical Bala touches too,” sources add, on the film produced by AGS Entertainment.

Arya begins his Vettai! vettai-arya-10-02-11

Vettai was announced a couple of months ago, but this film will commence in March, 2011. The reason for the delay is because Arya was tied up with Bala’s Avan Ivan. Now that the film has been wrapped up and the post production work is on, Arya is free to concentrate in Vettai.

Lingusamy will direct this bilingual, which will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. While Arya plays the lead role in the Tamil version, Mahesh Babu will don the greasepaint for the Telugu version.

Dayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies will produce Vettai and it is touted to be a big budget film.
