Brimming with optimism and confidence is Arya. The actor says his forthcoming film ‘Vettai’ with Lingusamy, in which he is sharing the screen space with Madhavan, will be a landmark movie in his career.
“Like how ‘Run’ by Lingusamy weaved a magic for Madhavan, ‘Vettai’ will be memorable for me. It is a stylish commercial story shot in typical Lingusamy style. I love his style of filmmaking,” the actor says.
On shifting genres film after film, Arya says, “I should thank my directors for that. They come to me with confidence and I try my best to live up to their hopes. That’s how most of my films happened.”
Expressing his admiration towards Bala, he says, “It’s a great gift for the actor in me to work with him in two films- ‘Naan Kadavul’ and ‘Avan Ivan’. Each and every day was a great learning experience.”

Vettai's second schedule
Director Lingusamy and team just returned from Karaikudi recently after completing the first schedule of Vettai. The film’s lead stars Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy along with the supporting actors and actresses are now gearing up to travel to Thoothukudi and Thirunelveli where the second schedule is due to take place.
Vettai is being produced by Lingusamy’s home banner Tirupati Brothers. The music for this film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Yuvan and Lingusamy had joined hands for Paiyya and the songs in that film turned out to be smash hits. With both of them coming together once again for Vettai, we can expect some more chartbusters.
